You may request a free quote, by completing our online form, or by emailing us your document.
Our Pricing
We charge you per number of word in a document. We base the word count on the source language document i.e. the document that you send us. However, should we not be able to establish the word count, for instance with a faxed document, we will use the word count of the translated text for the calculation of the invoice.
Our rate varies from 75 cents to R1.00 (South African Rand ZAR) a word. For our international clients, we will operate on the present current exchange rate. A number of factors, such as the complexity, size, period and nature of the document will determine the rate of the document. We therefore request that you send through your document so that we can give you an exact quote.
Payment Terms
Upon acceptance of the translation, the client will receive an invoice. Our payment terms are seven (7) business days and the client may make the payment by direct deposit or bank transfer. International clients may make payment via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT).
For larger translations, we will require a 50% deposit before proceeding with the work. This will be stipulated at the time of the quotation.
Confidentiality and security issues are a priority for The Translator. On request, we will sign a non-disclosure or confidentiality agreement upon acceptance of our quotation.
Our quality of translation is a guaranteed, as our translators are carefully selected according to the translation requirements. Furthermore, all our translations undergo a rigorous, independent proofreading process for accuracy.
We will ensure that we deal with each translation project, whether big or small, with the same personal attention.
